CelebrityWorths publishes researched information about the finances and careers of public figures. This page sets out the limits of that information honestly — what we can stand behind, what we cannot, and what you should not rely on it for.

This is the single most important thing on this page, so it goes at the top rather than buried in clause fourteen.
Nobody outside a person’s accountant, bank and legal team knows what that person is actually worth. Private individuals do not publish balance sheets. Contracts contain terms that are never disclosed. Assets get valued differently depending on who is doing the valuing and why.
What genuinely exists in public are fragments: an announced contract figure, a published fee, a league draft price, a filing at a registry, a number quoted by a named journalist. Our work is to gather those fragments, say where each one came from, and be clear about how much weight each deserves.
What that means for you in practice
Treat everything here as journalism, not accounting. If you need a verified financial position on any individual — for a transaction, a legal matter, a due diligence check or a business decision — this site is not a sufficient source and was never built to be one. Commission a proper professional assessment instead.
Every figure carries a confidence label
Rather than presenting every number with the same authority, we grade them. These labels appear in the evidence table on each profile and they are not decoration — they tell you exactly how far a figure can be trusted.
Confirmed in a primary document — an official announcement, a registry entry, a published contract or a direct on-the-record statement. The strongest label we use, and the rarest.
Published by a named outlet with a real editorial standard. Credible, but we have not independently confirmed it, and the label says so rather than letting it pass as fact.
A calculation or projection rather than a disclosed figure. Useful for understanding scale and direction only. Not something to quote as though it were audited.
Credible sources publish materially different figures. We show the full range and explain the disagreement rather than quietly picking whichever number reads best.
Why we sometimes give you a range instead of a number
Because a range is occasionally the only honest answer available. Where two reputable sources are separated by a wide margin, presenting one of them as settled fact would be a fabrication dressed as certainty. We would rather show the spread, explain what is causing it — usually currency, date or what is being counted — and let you form your own view.

Accuracy and how current the information is

Each profile carries a published date and a last-checked date. Where a page has been revised, the change is recorded in an update log at the bottom of that page. If a page has not been checked recently, the date will tell you so plainly rather than hiding it.

Currency conversions move
Many figures on this site originate in one currency and are quoted in another for readers’ convenience. Exchange rates move continuously, and a conversion accurate on the day it was published may be materially wrong months later.
Where a conversion appears, treat it as an indication of scale at the time of writing rather than a live figure. The original currency is the more reliable number.

Does this mean your figures are unreliable?
No — it means they are honestly labelled. A figure marked Verified is drawn from a primary document and you can check it yourself using the source we cite. A figure marked Estimated is exactly that. The disclaimer exists so you know which is which, rather than every number arriving with the same false confidence.
Can I use information from this site in my own work?
